Invites to my Blog

On occasion I will be inviting a friend to complete a guest blog. When Mr. Cortez was telling me this story it had me rolling on the floor because we ALL have that mother-in-law. I asked him to write this guest post so I could follow up later about security systems.

Most people reading this blog likely own a motorcycle and it is likely sitting in their garage. Even if you own a lead sled Harley, two medium sized guys could wheel that sucker away before you know it. A security alarm is not only a wood way to calm down a crazy mother-in-law, its a good way to bust idiots trying to jack your motorcycle.

Mother in Law

Thanks to Erasmo Cortez

Yesterday my wife told me that her mother was coming up to visit for a couple of days and I felt like jumping off the highest building I could find. Its not that my mother-in-law is a bad lady she is just extremely annoying. Sometimes I feel like its her mission to push my buttons just so she can see my reaction. Every time she comes over she wants to lecture me about how I need to raise my kids differently and how I shouldn’t have bought something.

One thing that I know she cant complain about is the security system I recently had installed in my house simply by going to http://www.HomeSECURITY101.COM I had a high quality security system installed and now I feel safer in the house and I know that my mother-in-law will feel safer too. Although, the security system doesn’t change the fact that she will probably complain about everything else my wife and I do. But I guess I will just bit my tongue like I always do and just wait for her to leave.

Chopped the Exhaust!

While out in the garage today, listening to “Rhinebeck Fever” over and over again, from the band called KO, I chopped approximately 2-feet off each of my bobbers exhaust. Rhinebeck is a town located off the Hudson River. It is serene and quiet: the exact opposite of my motorcycle. The song, and the band are great. It is awesome music to listen to while emerging yourself in a project like the one I did so I suggest downloading it. The whole album, 175 Cherry Lane by KO got me amped up as I was reassembling the exhaust for its first trip.

Noise pollution is not the word to describe my motorcycle now. It’s loud, grumbles and takes command when you are going down the road. I expected to see a decrease in performance. After a slight tweak of the carburetor, everything fell into line and I really couldn’t see any performance issues.

Selling My Roller

Things are tight now and I must sell my Kraft Tech rolling chassis to help get ready for my next vacation. If you are in the Eastern PA region (or you like road trips) and you want a roller for an excellent price, you can get mine for a mere $1,300 off of Craig's List or by contacting me through my blog.

This frame is a custom built Kraft Tech frame only available to those who purchase from ACM. It takes any Evolution engine, has a mount for the transmission. 36-degree rake with a 3-inch backbone stretch. I have Avon tires wrapped around 60-spoke rims. it also has a DNA 2-over springer front end. Comes with both brake calipers and axles. It also has the cups and bearings installed in the neck.

I hate to sell it but I can always get another one. Fixing my ACM bobber keeps be busy enough anyways.
